Work?

I had to be to work at 5:30 this morning. Needless to say I was a little tired. Some of the other techs at the hospital convinced me that I should take some straight caffeine pills...I was in an experimental mode so I took 200 mg of caffeine. To put this in perspective...a 12 oz Pepsi has 32 mg of caffeine. I didn't think it was working, but a little later work was kind of slow, and we had some lidocaine ointment lying around. We decided that somebody needed to try it to see if it would make your arm go numb. I took the lidocaine and rubbed it all over my forearm. I didn't think it was getting numb, but we had to test it anyway. My wonderful friend Brett decided to open a syringe and stab me a couple of times, yeah, it wasn't numb. I think maybe the caffeine worked after all. Who volunteers to do this stuff when they are sane? Just another fun day at the pharmacy that I needed to share. Love it there!!!!
